Built to Last - Why 3.5 Years Matter

Posted by

We had a wonderful customer event at the Pacers game last evening. While the result of the game was bad, the takeaways from the networking were excellent.    As I looked around the room I saw relationships, built on trust and delivery, which span many years. It made me proud and also reflective on how Anchor Point is building our business to last.

Staffing can be a very tumultuous business. It can be easy to lose sight of the bigger picture and the end goal when you are full steam ahead in the daily hustle of filling positions.  The aforementioned end goal being, in my opinion, to be the best and to make decisions which will pay dividends over the long haul.   Anchor Point is growing at the rate we are because we are investing in building a world class team; one that can be counted on to deliver the resources you need to complete your projects.

I recall a statistic referencing the average tenure within the Staffing and Recruiting industry being 18 months. A mere 18 months before the recruiter that used to be with company X, calls you from company Y.  The Account Executive that used your 2 hours on a meeting on Company Z's capabilities, now needs two more hours to tell you all about company W's specialized process.   It is a hard business, and not for everyone, but I can very proudly say here at Anchor Point our average tenure is over 3.5 years and rising. (Most recent new hire boot camp removed from this)    We hire well, train well, promote from within and retain our talent.   What does this mean for our consultants and customers?  Consistency and Delivery - it is that simple and is why 3.5 years matters.
